Health and Safety Regulations in Indonesia-ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) Criteria
Di Indonesia, regulasi kesehatan dan keselamatan memainkan peran penting dalam mendukung kinerja perusahaan yang berkelanjutan. Selain itu, kriteria ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) juga semakin menjadi sorotan dalam menjaga lingkungan hidup, kesejahteraan sosial, dan tata kelola perusahaan yang baik.
Dalam konteks kesehatan dan keselamatan, perusahaan di Indonesia diatur oleh Undang-Undang No. 1 Tahun 1970 tentang Keselamatan dan Kesehatan Kerja. Undang-undang ini bertujuan untuk melindungi pekerja dari risiko yang timbul selama bekerja dan mewajibkan perusahaan untuk menjamin lingkungan kerja yang aman dan sehat. Selain itu, perusahaan juga diharuskan melaporkan semua kecelakaan kerja yang terjadi.
Sementara itu, kriteria ESG juga merupakan faktor penting dalam menilai kinerja perusahaan. Lingkungan, sosial, dan tata kelola yang baik menjadi fokus utama bagi investor dan pemangku kepentingan lainnya. Perusahaan yang peduli terhadap lingkungan akan memperhatikan dampak operasionalnya terhadap lingkungan sekitar dan berupaya untuk mengurangi jejak karbonnya. Selain itu, perusahaan juga diharapkan memberikan kontribusi positif bagi masyarakat sekitar, misalnya melalui program-program tanggung jawab sosial perusahaan.
Dengan mematuhi regulasi kesehatan dan keselamatan yang berlaku serta memperhatikan kriteria ESG dalam operasionalnya, perusahaan di Indonesia dapat meningkatkan kinerja mereka secara berkelanjutan. Hal ini tidak hanya akan memberikan manfaat bagi perusahaan itu sendiri, tetapi juga bagi lingkungan dan masyarakat sekitar. Selain itu, investor dan pemangku kepentingan lainnya juga akan memberikan apresiasi terhadap perusahaan yang berkomitmen untuk beroperasi secara bertanggung jawab.
